Welcome to your British Literature course! This year, we are going to be reading many fascinating novels, short stories, and plays. The major works that we will be reading are: “Beowulf”, “Canterbury Tales”, Macbeth, Pride and Prejudice, and The Importance of Being Earnest. We will also read various short stories and poems throughout our course. Daily lessons will include, but are not limited to: grammar/writing/spelling/vocabulary/reading comprehension activities; individual and group presentations; in class assignments.
